Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

  • Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to Hasu Biotech Ltd,  Manor Park Medical Centre, 2 Lerwick Drive, Slough,  SL1 3XU, UK.

  • Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.

  • Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

  • Service refers to the Website.

  • Website refers to Hasu Diagnostics, accessible from www.hasudiagnostics.com

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

No Refund and Returns policy with NO exceptions. 

Any kits dispatched for self-test that are unused will NOT be refunded under any circumstances due to health and safety reasons. Therefore, once you booked the test, the Covid testing kits are non-changeable and non-refundable.

 

1. Due to our efficient and robust operations, our response to the orders are instant,we cannot undo the orders and the test kits will be sent immediately by the Royal Mail.

 2. We are unable to provide the refunds, reason being the test kits are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, DHSC, PHE guidelines  and  as per Article 28(3)(a) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“2013 Regs”).

 3. It is the government requirement to meet UKAS accreditation which requires us to maintain a full chain of custody of samples so that they are traceable. Each test kit is personalised with a unique BARCODE number for the purposes of the testing process and/ or further personalised with a unique booking reference number for the passenger locator form due to government requirements. The kit is therefore exempted from the refund as per the Article 28(3)(b).

 4. Under Article 28(1)(c) of the 2013 Regs, depending on the shelf life of the subject kit, the test kits are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly and therefore they are exempt from returns.  

5. We cannot provide a refund, If the test booking order number has been generated by us and the test kit/s have been sent to you( in most cases the dispatch of the kits within a couple of minutes). 

 6.  Due to the risk of  transmission of the viruses and for reasons stated above (2), the testing kits cannot be returned to Hasu diagnostics once received by you. 

 7. Hasu Diagnostics cannot provide a refund due to the reason for missing swabs in the sample kit supplied by Hasu Diagnostics but in these circumstances a replacement item will be dispatched on request.

 8. Hasu Diagnostics will not provide a refund if you have not received your test kit by day 2 of your isolation.The replacement kit will be dispatched  to you for the D2 and D8 tests  after  your arrival in the UK.

9. Hasu Diagnostics cannot provide a refund for delays in receipt of the testing kits or the test results from the laboratory as a result of factors beyond of our control such as delays in the postal system or delays in processing the samples by the laboratory due the complexity of the testing processes.

10. In accordance with all above mentioned conditions, YOU cannot terminate the contract.

Your Order Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel Your Order within 14 days without giving any reason for doing so.

The deadline for cancelling an Order is 14 days from the date on which You received the Goods or on which a third party you have appointed, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the product delivered.

In order to exercise Your right of cancellation, You must inform Us of your decision by means of a clear statement. You can inform us of your decision by:

We will reimburse You no later than 14 days from the day on which We receive the returned Goods. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.

Conditions for Returns

In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The Goods were purchased in the last 14 days
  • The Goods are in the original packaging

The following Goods cannot be returned:

  • The supply of Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
  • The supply of Goods which according to their nature are not suitable to be returned, deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.
  • The supply of Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
  • The supply of Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions in our sole discretion.

Only regular priced Goods may be refunded. Unfortunately, Goods on sale cannot be refunded. This exclusion may not apply to You if it is not permitted by applicable law.

Returning Goods

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods at the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend an insured and trackable mail service. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.

Gifts

If the Goods were marked as a gift when purchased and then shipped directly to you, You’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned product is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to You.

If the Goods weren’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the Order shipped to themselves to give it to You later, We will send the refund to the gift giver.
